I took the OPK at day 14 and positive (first day I did it) and took it again today (just to see and positive still)- it has been 5 days and still positive. Is this normal? I am worried. Does this mean I have infertility issues- so scared- please help me. I have been on OCP for several years and just got off- any advice would be great

Are you using the ovulation predictor kits that have the lines? I thought I was ovulating for 2 weeks straight when I was using the kind that have lines. I am quite positive that you are not ovulating for 6 days straight!! Don't worry about it being a fertility issue. I don't think this is the case.
It is much easier to figure out the ovulation predictor when you start out with a digital one. It gives a happy face :) when you are ovulating, and an empty circle when you are not. I actually peed in a cup and tested with the digital test, then immediately tested with the kind that have lines so I would know what the positive result looked like.
Also, they say that once you get a positive result on the OPK to stop testing. Sometimes the hormones from ovulation remain high enough in your body to make a test positive for a few days -- even though you are no longer in your fertile time.
Good luck!
