Well, Thanks to all of your help, I have got the courage to start the Vitex. Ive been on it now for approximately 7 days, and it feels like immediately after I take it my back feels like its getting kicked in. I swear Im trying everything possible, my BBT, pillow under my butt, missionary, no caffine, etc, and its been 14 months and I feel like Im losing it! I admire everyones persistence on this board, but I just cant wait! I know its worth it and all, but if I am doing something wrong, please tell me! ALSO! I have 3 questions...
1.) How do you even chart CM? I cant even feel my cervix..?
2.) If I dont get AF, how am I supposed to know how long my cycles are? Seriously I havent gotten AF in forever.....
3.) Does anyone know when Im supposed to get off the Vitex? Is it bad to continually take it until I reach pregnancy?
Thanks for listening to me vent, and dust to all!!!!

Me too, althought I've been TTC for only 5 months (I know 5 months is nothing, but it seems like forever to me) i'm losing my patience too. I've tried everything possible too, BBT, pillow under butt, missionary, no caffeine, quit smoking, lots of robitussin and green tea and I even banned my DH from drinking.
I bought vitex 2 weeks ago...and before i could start taking it my gyn started me on clomid. So I'd jumped straight to clomid. I don't chart my CM as I'm confused with mine...Vitex is supposed to regulate the menstrual cycle...
I've lost my patience sooner than you coz i have already talked to my gyn....I've had 2 ultrasound, first round of clomid (they confirmed that I'm not O'ing) and blood test next week.
I can't wait too, and I'm willing to do anything to achieve pregnancy. At the same time, I'm telling myself that it's worth it...even though it is hard sometimes.
But one thing for sure, we are all the "best moms in the making"...

I started TTC in Feb and started charting in Mar. It has been 5 months of serious BDing, instead of blindly BD'ing. As I said, I've everything possible.
I don't agree that you have to wait more than a year before seeking treatment because if you are not ovulating (my case) you can get treatment right away. What's the point of keep on trying if you are not ovulating.
I should have consulted gyn earlier and not wait until after 5 months.
I had and ultrasound on CD12 and my follicles were immature...so my gyn started me on clomid on the same day instead of waiting until CD3 or CD5 of next cyle(normal practice)

If you have not had your period in more than 65 days you need to consult your ob/gyn. They can give you something to get your periods started -- because if you are not having periods, more than likely, you are not ovulating.
If your ob/gyn will not do this, try to find another one.

i took vitex from last day of af until i knew i had ovulated. i have heard it is best to do it this way. i know how frustruated you must be, i ttc for a while before i got pg with my dd. have you thought about seeing a specialist as opposed to your regular doctor? maybe they will be more seious about it. good luck and keep trying, i hope everyone gets a bfp soon!!
