14 month old girl with Down Syndrome. Diagnosed with multiple seizures from March.
Todate, she has been treated with clonopin and topamax. Treatment started in March. Our daughter is not yet seizure free. It is being recommended that we now consider the Ketogenic diet and/or the medication ACTH or Vigabatrin. We want to know of similar situations. We want to speak with families whose children have used Ketogenic diet and/or the medication ACTH or Vigabatrin. Alternatively, have any of you tried/used anything else. Also our daughter has got Down Syndrome and we want to know if any of you are aware of any kids with both Down syndrome and seizures and what the treatment was?
