Hello everyone. I have a son who is 9 years old. He has been potty trained since the age of 2 1/2 but still wets at night. I was just wondering if there is a "common" age that they seem to quit. My pediatrician isn't concerned. But Austin is getting where he hates to put on the goodnite pull-ups. He says he's a big boy. Is there anyone who has had there child put on any medication for this? Well any insight or info would be appreciated. Thanks so much.

my son is 11 yrs old and is still bedwetting. it was so bad at night he was soaked in the morning-bed and all- and i had to put 2 pullups on and was still soaked. We went to a urologist (cant spell) and they took xrays of kidneys and they were ok. He is currently on medication and he has gone from 2 to 1 pullup a night. The dr is still getting updates from me every week and hasnt given up on him yet, it has only been 6 weeks also, so we are still in the process of correcting this. If you want to email me my email is workstwomuch1@home.com

Audrey, age 7, is still wetting the bed too although she's been potty trained for a long time. Her doctor also says that it's not that uncommon even for typical kids. I guess it's true as my typical 5 1/2 year old nephew still wets the bed while his 2 1/2 year old sister remains dry through the night. I also have a cousin who wet the bed until he was almost 12. Even so, it is still very frustrating.

Hello again. Just thought I would update on Austin's bed wetting. He IS NO MORE!!!! Don't ask how, cause I don't know. We were on vacation last week and he just quite. It's been almost 2 weeks now and not even one accident. I guess he's body was just ready. I hope it stays that way. Good luck to all. It will happen, when it's time. God Bless!
