Hi everyone,
I just wanted to remind everyone that there are options available OTHER than termination in the event of a positive Amino or CVS test.

First and foremost there is the opportunity to parent a child with special needs this is a truly amazing experience and most parents feel that they could NOT do this BUT we could probably amaze ourselves at the things that we CAN actually do if faced with that situation!

Then there is the option of making an adoption plan, DO NOT BE MISLEAD, there ARE families (such as mine) that DREAM of adopting a baby with Down Syndrome. In my case we have already adopted a son with down Syndrome and would like to adopt another baby with Down Syndrome, because of the joy that has been brought into our lives through our son.

Remember there are OPTIONS, so ponder carefully BEFORE you make any quick decisions or assumptions!
