I'm posting this on behalf of my mom because she's a 'fraidy cat ;) ...
So, my mom went through menopause and hadn't had her period in three years, and then all of a sudden, she got it last month. She went to the doctor, and had tests done, and everything's fine, but her gyno says something stimulated her ovaries into producing eggs again. She forgot to ask him about it, but she wonders if it is from when she started having monthly massages about 6 months ago. She said she heard that massaging certain parts of the body can stimulate other parts of the body in certain ways, and she was wonndering if that's what got her ovaries going again. Does anyone know?
My mom thanks everyone in advance for their insight!

Yes it can. It's called reflexology. There is a spot between your ankle and heel on the outside of the foot when massaged can stimulate the ovaries, or to ovulate. Although post menopausal bleeding is not uncommon. In my profession I have seen it quite a bit. I am not sure if massaging other parts of the body can stimulate the ovaries however. Your mom can ask the massage therapist also about this as they should know. Good luck to your mom!
