Hi everyone,
I just wanted to write a post and let everyone know that in about 10 days, I'll be done with my first year of PT grad school! A couple days ago I had a practical at a hospital where I had to evaluate a patient for the first time. i was terrified, but in the end it went well. I couldn't have made it through the stresses of grad school and my ear problems (which have been flaring up I think due to stress) without you guys. I think my ears are getting stronger in that my setbacks when they do come aren't as bad as before (I'm hoping, we'll see). I couldn't have dealt with all the stress without the support of people who really know what it feels like to have this problem. It was so comforting to know i could come here and vent and have people understand. it's so weird to feel a connection to people I have never actually met in person, but I am so grateful for all the support.
Again, i hope everyone is feeling better. I'm about to have 2 months off of school, and I'm hoping that relaxation time will do wonders for my ears! I really think that when I graduate I should specialize in Vestibular rehab and do some kind of a residency program for that. Hmm... we'll see.
Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for being there. I'm sure I will be back venting with another setback, but I think that is why we are all here for each other :-)
