Go to Nexium's website. Astrazeneca has programs that will give you discount cards. A friend recently told me about it and I just applied this week. You can apply online and it will give you a number immediately to start using until your card comes. I haven't received my card yet or tried using it yet. I have no insurance at all right now, so I'm waiting to go back to the doctor. I've been taking Prilosec OTC, but I'm hoping I can get the prescription with this discount card to save some money, or maybe even another type of PPI. It gives you a discount of 25-40% on your medications. There are several of them, but I would apply for the Together Rx. That one covers TONS of medications, not just PPIs. I don't know what the exact percentage discount is on these specific medications though. If you find out, please let me know and I will likewise.

Prilosec is still available by prescription, (the real stuff, not OTC) and there is a generic version also available by prescription. The name of the generic is
OMEPRAZOLE. That should save you a few dollars. I saw it listed at 77 cents per 20 mg pill at Costco.
You can also try buying from legitimate Canadian Pharmacies and having them shipped to the U.S. PPIs are so much cheaper in Canada.
A company called Pricescan does a nice job of telling you where you can find your PPI the cheapest.
