Oh yes, the chronic sore throat. John_33, you battle it with a 2 dose PPI regimen - 2 doses of the maxium strength PPI of your choice. Lifestyle alterations also help.

yes on sore throat and I had a burning clear up to my ear. Prilosece 40 mg cleared it up and have been acid reflux free now for about 5 yrs.

Sore throat seems to be the only symptom of reflux that I have. I have no heartburn or any other problems.. I started Nexium (40mg qd am) about 2.5 weeks ago. I haven't seen much improvement in the sore throat, still comes and goes..
