hello kathy,
i have been having severe problems for about six months without any luck in doctors discovering what the problems could be, i have had blood tests and x-rays but nothing showed up.i h ave recently seen a SPECIALIST who was a bit unsure but has come to the conclution that it is probable Osteoathritis, i just accepted this without much debate but on having read yours and others i am sure that it more than likely i have a similar problem to yours.same shoulder pain, big lump on collar bone which depending on the day can be extremely painful, after a couple of months my neck pain started and can be more painful than shoulder and collar.
sleeping has been a nightmare with having to sleep in the upright position the only way of comfort. and lately over the last month or two i have got the liquid filled blisters on the soles and sides of my feet, which untill reading this heathboard thought had no conection.I have since shown my doctor the facts on this and he has agreed to put me through an MRI scan next monday. hopefully just finding out what the problem is can start to help in re building what has turned into rather an unpleasant period in my life.thanks for your detailed story, has boughme new hope,

your ant

Ant.hurst and Kathy -A few weeks ago I noticed the same thing you have - a lump at the sternal/clavicle junction. I had an xray which showed nothing. The surgeon thinks it's osteoarthritis, same diagnosis as you got. Mine is not painful at all so we've decided to leave it alone for now.I just wanted to make sure that it wasn't a tumor. This is the only swollen joint I have - how about you guys do you have other swollen joints that you can see?
