Hey123 08-05-2006, 07:15 PM Ok so i'm 21 years old 5'10 and weight around 145lbs. I just bought 100% Whey Protein Chocolate caremel flavor. My goal is to get around 175lbs. I don't really work out but i have some weights in my house that i can bench. Do you guys think this is enough? Just let me know any advice is welcome.
Hey123 08-06-2006, 01:39 PM So nobody can help me?
khalid_online 08-08-2006, 07:39 AM I can, I have the same problem. With me I put on weight by increasing my portions daily and drinking weight gain shakes, such as Reflex Instant Mass.
However, you must remember that results can be affected by your genetics and age. Things take time.
There is no point drinking shakes if you aren't going to work out. Forget the protein unless you wanna go for muscle, get Instant Mass (mass gaining shakes) to put on weight.
Good luck.
Hey123 08-08-2006, 12:28 PM Thanks for the reply. I recently returned the proteins and got my money back. Can you tell me more about Reflex Instant Mass? Which one should i buy how does it taste like and how much should i drink per day? Thank you
Hey they don't sell this in the America?
khalid_online 08-09-2006, 08:06 AM In a nutshell...
"Reflex Instant Mass is a high calorie meal replacement powder. It contains high levels of protein and carbohydrates with low levels of fats. The carbohydrates are provided by barley and oats, giving it a very low glycemic index, to minimise fat gain.
Ideal when gaining weight, as a recovery drink, or during periods of increased training intensity or duration."
Just like shakes, you take one after your workout but you also take them twice a day, say one with your breakfast and one between your lunch and evening meal. Stop 3 meals a day and do 6 smaller meals, for example...
Meal 1. Breakfast
Meal 2. Mass gainer shake + Banana
Meal 3. Smaller Lunch
Meal 4. Mass gainer shake + banana
Meal 5. Smaller Dinner
Meal 6. Snack.
You may find it's too much for you, so you can try to edit the meal layout to suit you.
[DELETED] I recommend Reflex as I've used it, it tastes like protein shakes and it gives good results.
Hey123 08-09-2006, 02:07 PM Thanks alot khalid_online you are the only one that has helped me online. I will try to buy Reflex Instant Mass but i dont think they sell it in America.
khalid_online 08-10-2006, 01:03 PM No problem, good luck.
If you can't find Reflex instant mass go into a specialist sports store and ask for some reputable instant mass.

Lenin 08-11-2006, 07:44 AM Hey guys,
I hit 6 foot at age 12 and weighed 120 pounds...wanna talk skinny!::dizzy: :jester: I felt like a total freak in 6th grade. :(
I grew 2 more inches in the next couple years and ordered my Weider weights at 15...and never looked back.
khalid_online 08-11-2006, 01:54 PM Yes, remember to train minimum 3 times per week in order to see results.
You cannot simply take more food and mass gainer without training or you won't get any results.

6foot3 08-15-2006, 01:38 PM I took it in between meals and right before i went to bed. But i can't answer for you as we are different in hight/weight/genetics etc... so either follow the directions for it or experiment to see what works best for you...later !
Hey123 08-25-2006, 02:25 PM I just bought it and the directions say add 3 scoops of gainers full to 3 cups of low fat milk. Am i reading wrong or what? I just tried tasting it and its to thick. 6foot3 do you remember if you did the samething?
6foot3 08-26-2006, 02:19 PM Hey........Well took gainers Fuel in the mid 80's to mid 90's so it may have change some since (by manufacturer) but i only would take one scoop at a time. Also what you add to it will help in calories like natural peanut butter and bananas and either whole milk or add some olive oil to skim milk or favorate icecream (chocochip mint is mine) and again take either between meals and right before crashing out (sleep) then you'll notice soon as again i was super skinny until i started this meal routine with weights.
You don't have to add exactly what i said but thats what i did so good luck....
Hey123 08-26-2006, 07:13 PM Hmm i will try that but why does the directions say to add 3 scoops to 3 cups of milk? Must be some sort of typo..
Here are the directions
As a dietary supplement, take 1 serving daily in addition to regular meals. Add 3 scoops ( scoops included ) of Gainers Fuel 2500 to 3 cups ( 24 fl. oz. ) of low fat milk, or 16 fl. oz. water. Stir and Serve. Gainers Fuel may also be added to a blender with ice for a delicious, thick and frosty milkshake. For best results, combine with resistance exercise or weight training to promote lean anabolic weight gain.
