I came up with these as humorous responses to those who just don't get it.

When they say: "You look fine."

You say: *turning around* "and now I look like I'm leaving."
or
You say: "So do you when you're walking away."

You say: "Well, then this day wasn't a total waste of makeup." *Even funnier if you're a guy.*

When they say: "But you look well."
You say: "Thanks, you look medium-rare." or "Thanks, I feel medium medium-rare."

When they say: "You don't look sick."
You say: "Good, cause I was going for the tired and bitter look."
or
You say: "Whew that's a relief. Sick is out this year."
or
You say: "Darn, I guess it's like hip-huggers: not everyone can pull it off. Sick is the new black you know"

Well this is probably less politically correct; but I also like;
