has this drug help anyone? All doctors say SSRI are safe but i hear people complaining about everyone out there, zoloft, pazil, effextor,etc. I have the lowest dose and i need it for anxiety and dealing with life ,do you think it would help. Did this drug give anyone nausau or a bowel problem? I hate taking new drugs. HELP!!!

I take citalopram, which is just the generic form of Celexa. I started on 10mg and went up to 20mg. It really has helped me a lot! I can function a lot better than I could before I started taking it. I did experience some nausea the first couple days of taking the celexa. The only side effect I have now is a little fatigue, but it's not so bad at all.

every drug is going to effect people differently so it is hard to say which drug would work for you is difficult. I tried Celexa and it did not work for me, now I take Effexor.
