Hi i am genreally a bit of a worrier anyway.
I am quite a moley person, anyway i have had a new mole appear on my face,it looks normal colour etc but the thing is it wasnt there last year?? Anyway my main concern is a mole i have on my lower leg,i think i caught it a couple of weeks ago and it did bleed. Now the mole has gone kind of "bity" thats the only way i can desccribe it really, kind of dotty. It also feels more raised than usual but im not sure if its just me being all neurotic.
Anyway i am going to see my gp tomorrow but im already convienced i have skin cancer and that im going to die,im thinking all morbid thoughts.

What i want to know is what the process is,if i have this mole cut out (which i htink i more than likely will) are you put to sleep? Does the doc do it there nad then? Then what happens? It gets sent where? If it does come back as a Melonoma? Is that it? What are the recovery rates? What do you have to have done then? Im so scared and im really panicking so if anyone has some advice i would really appreciate it???

I know it doesnt look right so i think i will ask to have it cut out.

Im female 26 and have a 1 year old daughter all i kep thinking is i really dont want to leave her,all i keep thinking is i dont want to die,i know some of you will probably think im just a lunatic, but im so scared. Please any advice.

I am from the uk.

first of all,
calm down. I am just like you. Remember that you just found the mole and the other one that was bleeding so it is a new issue. It is probably nothing. I would go to a dermatologist if your gp says the moles are suspicious. Let us know as soon as you find out.

Hi, Please don't be scared. Skin cancer, if detected early is highly curable. I'm in my sixties and had skin cancer when I was 27. I had a tiny dark mole near my eye. Thank the Good Lord I was sort of vain and that's the reason I went to the dermatologist. It was malignant and caught in time. Since then I have avoided the sun as much as possible and use sun screen and cover up, even when it's hot.

Protect yourself and stay out of the sun as much as possible and GO TO YOUR DOCTOR if you have moles or any kind of skin abnormality. You will feel much better after doing so. :)

Hi I just went through removing spot on my face a plastic surgeon removed it and I was put to sleep as out patient in hospital. I would go to a dermatolgist they will probably take a sample and get it tested do it now. mine turned out to me melanoma cancer slow growing kind that does not spread. I am going to a ongolist tomorrow to follow up with everything. Don't worry about it you will be fine. God Bless Cherman

I believe that he meant he was going to see an Oncologist. Dr who specializes in cancer.
