Hi All

I had been doing quite well the last couple of months, with a few minor setbacks, but I have hit a real bad one at the moment, and I feel like I did last year with this junk.It is really depressing as I can see no true end in sight.I feel as if Im going to be tortured by this for years and the thought of having this for years makes your outlook on life very grim.

I really thought it would be gone by a year and I could be done with it....but now im in open water, feeling really crap again with a potential of years more suffering.

I am going on holiday in a a week and really wanted to feel on form...I hope I can get back to my usual dizziness again soon, so atleast I can slightly enjoy myself.

Current status- been doing VRT, still have 'off' feeling and imbalance and dizziness (groggy, spacey)

Awaiting a miracle cure.

I can only say that I'm on the same boat now, looking for answers(you can check that on my MAV post).

Maybe it's part of the process, maybe it's normal on the way to recovery, and you just have to be patient, unfortunately no two persons symptoms and cases' evolution is the same for this junk, and there's still much in the blue for the doctors regarding inner ear conditions, so... we can't yet tell for sure.

You obviously have to take care of colds, and any other pottentialy inner ear upseting condition to feel well, and I can tell you that I qute fully recovered from a BPPV like attack back in 2004, wich seemed like my initial "real" vestibular injury, with just taking care of myself, VRT, and exercise, so... VRT and activity do help somehow with inner ear stuff, so keep it up.(I quote real because my actual MAV suspicion).

Nothing more to add here but to wish you luck and a soon recovery, until someone finds out that miracle cure you mention.(or at least something close to it ;))
