I am on to another med and trying Prozac........I would appreciate input on when you take it a.m. or p.m.? I have always taken my meds at night. and if it made you more anxious in the begining..........I am waking up at 4:00 a.m.with major anxiety........what you did and how long it took for the anxoiusness to go away. I take Klonopin .5 3x daily. Also what was your smallest starting dose? I am taking 4 mg. I am wondering if I should try taking it during the day???

I'll see if I can answer some of your questions...
I've heard you should take Prozac during the day b/c it may just keep you up. But I usually take it during dinner; dont know why, its just when I remember i guess. And I've always had a tough time falling asleep so I cannot say if it keeps me up...dont think so.
And I wouldn't say taking it in the beg. made me more anxious.
I have taken it since I was about 15 and I am 29 now.
I take 30 mg now; the most I've taken was 50 i think. The least was 20. Those are normal doses.
You may get dry mouth in the beg. but that's normal. It goes away.
I also take xanax, a seditive.

my dr just started me on prozac 6days ago would you say its pretty safe
