I have been on Errin/Micronor for the past 8 months or so. I was instructed not to take a week off while on it to menstruate like you do with other pills and because of this, I have not had a period or any spotting at all, which my doc said is normal "procedure" if you will. Does anyone know , is this really the case that shouldnt take a break to menstruate at all while on this pill?
Also ... I was told to stop taking it once every three months so I will menstruate but since stopping over a week ago, I still have not had any signs of my period coming on. Does anyone know how long it usually takes for it to come on once you stop taking them?
Anyone who's had experience with this pill and has info on these concerns would be much appreciated!

Micronor/Errin is a P.O.P (No estrogen)....so therefore for the protection you take the packs back-to-back with no breaks.
I find it odd that they'd tell you to take a break every 3 months for a period....since it's like your coming off B/C it could take a while before you menstrate....I just see that as more hassle....not to mention your not protected while your not on it..so then you have to be concerned about if you had unprotected sex recently and if going off the pill is going to allow ovulation to take place. (this being if your on it for preventing pregnancy...if your on if for other reasons disreguard that)
But, yes because it's continuous it is entirely possible to have your period be delayed or not show.
While I was on it my period tended to come every 2 months on average...sometimes slightly less or a bit longer.
The first time I went off the pill (Errin)....AF never showed cause I had gotten pregnant..
In May went off of the pill (this one camilla....Also a P.O.P..) mid may...five days after going off of it my period showed up.
