View Full Version : Reducing swollen glands

Two years ago (after years of tests  ) I was diagnosed with ME after having glandular fever.
I usually cope well with it and my symptoms aren't too bad, but I have an ongoing problem with swollen salivary and lymph glands.
I tried echinacea and I take a variety of vitamins and minerals but the echinacea does nothing.
They aren't painful, just irritating cosmetically  .
I would have tried homeopathy but I react badly to sugar and I can only find the remedies on sugar pills.

Anyone please recommend anything to reduce the swelling  ?

Do a websearch on "Rene Caisse". My husband and I are drinking the Essiac Herbal Formula for joint pain and swelling. It helps build up your immune system.

My DD had CFS post-viral EBV w/ongoing swollen (hers were sore as well) lymph nodes. She did well using Monolaurin (a coconut oil derivative taken orally) for several months. There is some pretty good research to show safety & efficacy. Something you can look into.

Best wishes.
