Well dumb me gave into having intercourse the other night..2 1/2 weeks after my c-section and about 3 hrs, my insides started to hurt really bad..i cant really describe the pain, its just throughout all my insides and my incision looks infected but i also started tri-sprintec birth control pills yesterday so im not sure if i developed an infection from intercourse or if its a side effect from the birth control..i am going to call my doc. tomorrow but its pretty painful and i was wondering if anyone could give me advice on what they think?? id appreciate it a lot! thanks a bunch!

Oh dear, sounds like you haven't given things time to heal. Birth control does not cause infection so your symptoms are likely to be a result of the early intercourse. All you can do now is rest and keep your incision clean and dry before seeing the doc. Avoid any further sex until everything has healed up properly.
