I've been on Yasmin since November 05 and I am one who loves it!! I was on othro tri cyclen for 5 years and was an emotional reck. Yasmin has been great for me. I love it. However lately I have been having terrible migraines a few times a week. (Not associated with Yasmin. Most likely hereditary.) I wanted to see about taking Topamax for my migraines. However, I have done research on the drug and it says that some birth control pills may become less effective with Topamax. I wanted to know if anyone was taking the both, or taking Topamax with any other birth control pill and how it was affecting you. I really love Yasmin and would hate to have to go off of it.

Yes, I have heard that prescription meds for headaches can mess with your birth control pill. Call your doctor or pharmacy!
