I recently saw an infomercial on a new exercise program called core systems which is done by using techniques from latin dance. I tried a little of the moves on my own for a minute or so and really felt it working in my legs and core. The only thing is I've had years of trouble with sciatica and hip trouble and have been seeing a chiropractor for adjustments regularly. I just wonder if anyone knows if this exercise is good or bad for the lower back? I will be asking my chiro. next time i see her, but i thought i'd check with ya'll in the mean time. I really liked the exercise and it felt really good.
In the meantime i have found much relief for my hips and lower back with Pilates, but as i do exercise tapes at home, once in a while i like variety (the spice of life, they say) and i thought i might try this core system and use it once a week alternating with Stott Pilates workouts.
