novemberbride 08-08-2006, 12:36 PM I have been on Yaz over a week and I started to get very sore breasts. Amanda leigh_j 08-08-2006, 03:28 PM I had very sore breasts the first month. It wasn't intolerable, but very noticeable. I'm starting my 2nd week in my 2nd pack, and they are just slightly sore... I imagine that by next month everything will be fine. :D sawbuck44 08-08-2006, 04:20 PM I am also new to Yaz and on my third week. Have not had a cycle yet on it - is that when you experience the soreness because I have none. novemberbride 08-09-2006, 07:39 AM I am also new to Yaz and on my third week. Have not had a cycle yet on it - is that when you experience the soreness because I have none. I have not had my period yet either. I started taking Yaz 10 days ago and just started to have sensitivity. Hanna2424 08-10-2006, 09:29 AM that is odd that u all havnt had ur period because my dr. told me to take yaz the first day of my period with the first pill and i ended up having my period for 31 days!! and the reason ur breasts are sore is because they are growing that same thing happened to me and i went up a whole cup size belive it or not. lily2400 08-13-2006, 06:56 AM I am almost through my 3rd pack of Yaz. My breasts were only a bit sore through the past 3 months, but they have definitely grown. I've gone up an entire cup size in 3 months. it's quite unpleasant. They are completely swollen. annieconstance 08-16-2006, 11:33 PM hmm..well the only side effects I've had with Yaz were depression so I stopped taking it :\ it all depends obviously cause everyone is different and everyone will respond to pills differently. I'm still in search of one that doesn't make me crazy/depressed. zellars 08-17-2006, 10:22 PM mine were literally aching they were so sore and boy have they increased in size. I started this pill because I have such horrible pms not for contraception. I do think it has helped my moods but I have also gained about 5 lbs which I know sounds crazy but makes me a whole different kind of depressed. do you have to gain weight to level your hormones?  jrhymes89 06-09-2007, 11:13 PM i have been on yaz for about two weeks now and have not experienced any breast tenderness. does that mean that my breasts are not growing? and also ive been getting really bizarre dreams lately and moodiness. are those both symptoms? FromSqueaky 06-10-2007, 12:17 AM It's not a guarantee that your breast will swell. They do not actually grow they just swell from fluid retention. It's not a permanent thing. Mood swings are normal. Don't know if pills can cause wild dreams. EDIT: As for gaining weight on the pill some do some don't. Noone will know for sure if they will put on weight till they take them. There's no guarantee on that either. cc740 06-15-2007, 01:17 PM I'm on my second pack of Yaz. So far it's fine, but the first week of it I was an emotional wreck... now that I'm two months in I'm fine emotionally. My boobs however have grown exponentially!!!! I guess it's not a bad thing, but they are sore all the time. Before this I was on Ortho-lo which I loved, but I thought was making my hair fall out so I switched. I think the hair falling out was a figment of my imagination and so I may go back on Ortho-lo because my boobs were smaller and definately less sensitive. |
