Hello Angel.
I know what it's like to have adhd , and to want something naturally to heal you.
Have you tried the delicious tea Yerba Mate' from South America? The leaves themselves arent exceptionally tasty, but I add peppermint, spearmint, and stevia to my yerba mate. I'm about to experiment with cinnamin because I heard it is very popular, and I like the smell and taste of cinnamin.
Yerba mate is a smooth, natural source of energy and like green tea, yerba mate is rich in polyphenols.( Yerba has more)
I said that the leaves of the Yerba Mate' tree grown in South America, Uraguay, and Brazil arent exceptionally tasty, but they are the part of the infusion the I look foward too because of the benificial nutritional properties, to which there are so many amazing. EACH INFUSION OF MATE CONTAINS :
Alkaloid
Aromatic Compounds
Saponins
Phenolic Compounds
Flavonoids
Minerals
Vitamins - A, C, B-Complex
Xanthines
I will explain the properties of Yerba Mate' in greater detail later, but here's a quick overview.
The great sense of well being and smooth energy and mental focus from drinking cups of Yerba is due to the synergistic effect of the Alkaloid structure , the Xanthines(Natural caffiene 2-3% in a cup), Aromatic Coumpounds and Minerals(Mg, P, Ca, Mn and Fe) and vitamins.
The anti-oxident activity is due to the Saponins, Phenolic Compounds, and Flavoniods.
Yerba is so healthy and I can see why people drink many cups a day, and make it a morning, afternoon and night ritual to drink it; because of the induced high mental focus, sustained energy(which I noticed it does more of a job of supplementing your own energy levels and keeping them going all day rather than creating a nervous, jittery , twitchy energy buzz with a crash like coffe.)
So I noticed Yerba helps twoards a better life.

Hey Angel.
I have never tried ritilan or adderol so I couldn't compare, but I have a feeling your going to enjoy Yerba more than anything else. Even for just social gatherings. Yerba is called " The ancient drink of friensdship " because it is meant to enjoy with your friends and loved ones. It's just that tastey! A good infusion with some natural sweeteners is, anyways. I enjoy regular Yerba now anyways and get great effects from it.
I love living in this place on earth, Angel.
You can usually get it in a local health store in tea bags. That's how I first tried Yerba Mate'. I bought a box of 25 Gauyaki teabags 3 grams each for around 9 dollars. 75 grams of Yerba for 9 dollars plus tax. What a rip off. It didn't even give me any effects.
I buy my Yerba online and I get pounds and kilograms of the stuff for around 10 dollars.

Hey crunchies, I love the crunch too! :)
By the way crunchies, dont get ripped off by those tea bags they don't work well. If you do buy Yerba, buy in bulk.

asthma sucks, There seems to be many different varieties of Yerba Mate sold on the internet. Can you give me the specific variety that you have? Which country did you buy it from - Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay? Thanks
I love the Guayaki brand too. It is the strongest variety. I steep it with a Rooibos bag together.
**Valerian root and Catnip are supposed to have a good calming effect and improved focus for ADHD. But I would still stress the DHA/EPA in fish oils first.

Hi.
I am currently have biofeedback treatments done for anxiety and OCD. From what I have heard from my therapist, it can also be done for ADHD with success. You might want to go on-line and look it up under biofeedback or neurofeedback. It's all non-invasive.

have you tried eliminating sugar and grains from your diet? a lot of new research suggests that certain foods can increase symptoms. i eliminated sugar about a year ago and have never felt better (i do not have diagnosed add or adhd but a very short attention span in general).
