Hello everyone, just wondering if anyone hear ever gets black spots without the true migraine? I had these weird things appear 2 times now, and I am worried that it could be optical neuritis instead of migraine. I get what my docs call hormonal migraines, and each time I have had these spots in was around " that time of the month". Does optical neuritis only last 10 minutes or less? I don't ever get the migraine after these spots appear. I also read that some people have all kinds of weird sensations that are migraine prone. For me its facial pressure/tingling, left sided, same as migraine, weird feelings under the skin, kinda like bugs crawling, some people say these can last quite a few days before the actually head ache begins. Which would make sense that I have them most of the time, being I get the headache around mid-cycle, and right before or during my period. I had a MRI done, everything was normal, I'm just worried that it could be optical neuritis, instead of migraine related, if anyone can shed some light, please let me know!!!
