it's been over a year that i've noticed it. i want it gone. am i going to have it forever?

OMG, I totally empathize with you. My bruises take FOREVER to go away. I have 2 on my legs from where I fell down the stairs they still with me, this was like almost 3 years ago. I was carrying my daughter when she was an infant and she's 3 now. Very scarry fall. The bruises are still there, a pretty brown color with purple in the middle, gross! People think they are birthmarks. Us anemics do take a while to loose bruises, but THIS is ridiculous.:eek:

I don't even remember where i got this one. I'm extremely clumsy and always bumping into everything. i guess i'm lucky i only have one that i've noticed.
it's on my upper thigh so at least it's covered most of the time. i don't even like looking it at.
I've tried icing it, and it hasn't helped at all.
I take motrin for migraines/period/back pain, and it hasn't helped my bruise one bit.
