hello guys! this is my first month charting so i am new to this and really confused. let's get all the facts out of the way first. I am 22 with a 30 day cycle. i had my af on the 21 of july. it only lasted for two days and i started using an opk. (this was a first as well) on the 31st of July it was +. however, my temps didn't start really going up until a while later. according to my temps i am only 5dpo as apposed to the 8dpo according to the opk. yesterday my temp. dropped to 98.1 which is below the coverline of 98.4 after being about 99.6 for three days prior. then today it shot back up to 99.05. i don't have a clue what is going on. could this be the implantation dip i've been hearing about or am i getting too excited over nothing? i also had pink cm about 5 or 6 days ago. i am so confused. i want this really bad. i have had two miscarrages since 2004. in may of 2004 i lost one at 6months preg. and this past may i lost one at 5 weeks. i have a three year old and every time he sees a baby on tv he says he wants that baby sister. it's so sweet. he thinks we can buy one at Wal-Mart. LOL does it sound like he may be getting one??? Please help!!

p.s. now my cm is white and milky. i thought it was supposed to "dry up quickly after ovulation???

So sorry to read about your losses. I cannot imagine what it is like to go through a miscarriage.

When you use an OPK, it will let you know when there is a rise in a particilar hormone. It gives you a 1-3 day window of when you are ovulating. Your temperature shows the day you ovulated (about 3 days after the OPK gave you a positive result). It sounds like your body is working perfectly!

The drop in your temperatures could be an implantation dip, although usually it occurs no earlier that 7 DPO. Don't worry about the dip -- they happen sometimes! The pinkish CM 5-6 days ago seems to coincide with your ovulation. This happens in some women.

An increase in discharge can mean that you are pregnant.

Best wishes to you. I hope that you are pregnant this cycle, but please don't raise your hopes too high. A happy surprise is better than a huge let down!

Take care!

Hi mother wisdom!!

I am doing my BBT and have been for the last 20 months. What does your chart look like? You will normaly see implantation bleeding 7-12 DPO. In Feb. I found out I was pregnant and on that chart I implantation bleeding on day 8. Sadly I lost that baby at 9 weeks. Baby dust to you and I will be praying for you!

hi there again guys. thank you so much for your replies. you don't know how much i appreciate your comments.:) I'm sorry to hear about your loss babyangel2. i know how it feels i've been there. i've been there and that has got to be the worst thing i have ever felt in my whole life. the last one was a little easier physically than the first, but no easier on my heart. at least i got bradley's hat and blanket and ultrasounds to remember him by, but it is still hard. some days i still curl up with his blanket and cry and its been two years.anyway, my chart looks about the same as the other ones that are on that website. my temps start out about 98.4 then they go up to 99.5- 99.6 right after ovulation, then down again to 98.1 and back up the past two days they have been 99.05 and today they were 98.95. So I don't know. I guess the only way i will know is to wait and take the test.

I guess you guys are right though a happy surprise is better than a huge let down. Thanks for everything. if you have any more thoughts let me know.
