I had the test 7 weeks ago. The test results was ok except for a few small hemmorhoids in and outside. I never even knew about these before the test or had any pain. Every since the test I have pain there and it seems like some of the inside hemmorhoids push to the outside and that's what's causing the pain. Has anyone heard of this? I don't hardly ever sit and I don't strain to go to the bathroom. The morning I went in for the test the area didn't feel bad or irritated. Could this be from the pressure washer or instruments that the doctor used which have caused an irritation?

taape,
First of all an Endoscopy test is done through the mouth to look at the upper digestive system.
I think you are talking about a colonoscopy that is done to examine the rectum and colon.
The test including the washing system and air to clean and inflate the colon does not cause hemorrhoids--
Hemorrhoids are like varicose vein -- veins that that have lost their elasticity. Once you get hemorrhoids they never are reversable.
Sorry about your problems!

Yes, Harry I mean the colonoscopy. I wonder if the equipment put in there irritated the hemmorhoids because I've never had these swell up or be painful, actually I didn't even know I had any.

The prep could very easily irritate your rectum as well as your anus. As you know is not an easy thing to do for many people.
But, I think a lubricant is used when inserting the scope.
You can use a hemorrhoid cream for several days and the irritation should go away.

Thanks, that's a good idea. I'll go buy some cream.
