Hello,

Looking for a little input here. I have had this constant ache in my right side for 7 weeks now. Feels like my kidney. Have been to the dr numerous times. Although a ct scan shows 3 stones, the Dr says that they are not causing my pain, but they offer no other explanation. They just gave me pain pills to take, which knock me out. I have been drinking a ton of fluids, water mostly, daily walking, heating pad, etc. Nothing helps. Any ideas?

Thanks, Sandy

Sandy,
Go to the place where they did the CT Scan and request your medical record. That "should" tell you what size these three kidney stones are and if they are passable.

Kidney stones cause pain. Unless they are sitting perfectly still, they cause pain. When they are in the kidney, trying to go down the ureter, in the bladder or trying to come out....they cause pain.

It sounds like you are doing all that one can do. Read all that you can and learn all you can about kidney stones. Thats about all the advice I can give. Now, find out about how big those stones are.

Debbie :)
