hi - we have been trying to concieve for a while and i am three days passed my af with very little sign of af - yesterday when i wiped i have a very small spot of blood and then nothing - i took a hpt this morning and it was negative - i though if you implanted it would be with 7 to 10 days of ovulating or i ovulated late - if so when is the best time to do another hpt?

Hi Shazzo ! Yes, implantion bleeding is usually 5-7 days after O. I was told that you can spot anytime and be pregnant. I would wait a few days, there might not be enough of the pregnancy hormone in your system to show up yet for a hpt to be positive . I know with my baby, the first time i took a test, there was a really faint plus line in the window. I waited a couple of days and then i got my bfp ! So sometimes it takes a little time to show up, depending on how your body works. BEST OF LUCK TO YA !

Hi Shazzo,
I agree with Whatishappening. There just might not be high enough levels of hormones in your system yet. Hopefully you will get your BFP in a few days! :D :D
Best of luck to you! Please let us know how it turns out.

Hi, Shazzo,
Do you ever spot before you start your AF's? I normally spot a few drops of blood during the days prior to my normal AF flow. If this is not normal for you, though, I think it just might be implantation bleeding. Give it a few more days like the others said. Some women find that it takes their bodies longer to increase the pregnancy hormone enough where it will show up on tests. I've seen other women post that it's taken a whole week of AF being late before they have tested + on a HPT. Good luck!
