Anyone have mirena? When did your 1st period stop. It keeps pausing for half a day then I start spotting again.:rolleyes: I am eager for it to stop hopefully completely eventually.

mine took between 3-6 months to regulate and stop the spotting. i know, it sounds like a long time, but it really isnt that bad. hang in there. it will end and things will be fine. :)

UHGG! I had a day off then and though finally but now brown spotting. It's tolerable though. I read that only 20% stop their periods. I really thought it was higher which is the main reason I chose it over the copper. We'll see maybe I'll be one of the lucky ones.;)

How are things with your Mirena now? I am still thinking of getting one. I hate these BC pills, weight gain, depression, etc. My Doc recommended it for my endo. Let us know how it is going. Thanks!

I just got my Mirena put in last Thursday. Hurt like mad for the insertion, then, other than some cramping (which would have been normal if I had not been on the pill with controlled periods for so long) and now its pretty good. Little bit of cramping here and there, but not much. What worries me is some people talking about weight gain on mirena. that was one of the reasons I switched to it from the pill. Is that just for people who have not been on anything?
