First, I just wanted to say thanks in advance for anyone who replies. This is my first post.
My background: I'm 19 and have had issues with getting migraines multiple times every week for the past 5 years. I've tried MANY different approaches (countless medications, biofeedback, Botox, dyhydroergotamine through an IV, seeing a therapist...). I am currently on Depakote ER (taken at night).
My question: I've been doing research online and at the library about going the vitamin therapy route. I've read that a drop in magnesium levels can cause migraines. I've also read the same thing about vitamin B2.
Has anyone ever tried taking either/both of those? Or has anyone read any significant research regarding magnesium or vitamin B2 with migraine treatment?
Thanks again!
