Hi
I was doing some reading and read that someone said that their doctor told them that taking ibuprofen hinders the compensation process. I hadn't heard of anything like that. I have been taking it for headaches that I get with this crap. I have been doing VRT for the last few weeks, and when they show me something new to do, I get headaches and more dizzy so was taking Advil, cause it helped the headache. So was wondering if anyone on here heard anything like that. I forgot to ask the therapist about it. Thanks!

I doubt it.

Because on one allergy onset adn decomp I got which led me to a quickcheck up with the neurotologyst, they gave me both Clarityn-D(loratadine+pseudoephedrine) for allery and congestion, and Advil 400 mg(ibuprofen), for some jaw inmflamation I also got.

So, chances are that they wouldn't gave me this if it hinders compensation.

Hi,

Interestingly I was taking high doses of ibuprofen (for an acute back injury) when this hit me 3 years ago. I had also been on Vioxx for two months before it all started. It may be a huge cooincidence but who knows. Vioxx was taken off the shelf in the end.

Cheers..Scott

Thanks for your inputs, Stargrave and Scot! The Advil sure seems to help the headaches, so I'll keep taking it..too bad it doesn't help the detached head feeling more! Guess that just takes time
