Hello all,
I am new here. I am a type 2 diabetic (1 year now) and have hbp. I keep everything under control with meds. For a while nowI have often had the sensation of my heArt pounding out of my chest and a pinching/pressure sensation that last for a miniute or 2. This happens a few times a day. Being that I am a diabetic this worries me. When I went to Dr. last week he did hear what he called skipped beats and mentioned it to me. I did mention all that I have been feeling and that I did feel faint one occasion. He said that skipped heartbeats in diabetics common due to nevre damage or something of the sort (I was nervous and can't remeber all he said) and that he would have to keep monitoring me. I'll go back in 3 months for another check. I am sort of worried. Could this be a serious problem? Is there any important questions I should ask him when I go back? Thanks to anyone who can shed some light.
