It shouldn't be a neurological problem. My right arm and leg do the same thing. My PT says it is because I am still rebuilding the muscle that was out of use for 2 months. He said that muscle building can take several years. I, along with the MS Society web site, use yoga and pilates for flexibility and building muscle.
