wondering about my immunity. Have had two things in three months, high fever swollen glands and its almost like its just come back. I have asthma, don't know if that matters. I don't take anything oral. Does this happend to anyone else?

Have you moved across the country recently? I ask that because following several moves (West TN to North-central KY to TX to VA), all of us seemed to catch every passing germ for about the first year or so. In TN, my kids had been exposed to chicken pox many times and never caught them. The first time they were exposed in KY, they were both sick 3 weeks later. Go figure!

The other thing to consider it that it's unusual for an adult to have a high fever. If it is the same thing making you sick each time, and if it happens again, go see your doctor. You may need an antibiotic to assist your immune system and you certainly need to know if your asthma is part of the problem.

Hope you get it figured out.

Wishing you well - Barbara
