Hello there....me and my partner have just had unprotected sex and all the planned parent hood centers are closed adn there's no way of buying any kind of birth control..We;re not sure what to do and i was wondering if anyone knew any other techniques or something to take or do that will stop a pregnancy from happening..

The only thing that you can do is call your gyno (if you have one), and ask him/her to call in a prescription for plan b. that's all.

Dont worry too much. Getting pregenet is a lot difficult than people think. Stress can even cause you not to have your period.I belive the emergency pill works about to 74 hours after sexual intercourse.

I just think its important for people to know that Emergency Contraception is available if you go to the emergency room at the hospital, which will be open 24hrs. The ER visit can be costly but you must take emergency contraception pills as soon as you can, the longer you wait the less effective they become. Also, be careful what hospital you go to if it is religious then they my refuse to give out EC, try to avoid anything with a saint in the name, Catholic hospitals generally do not give out EC. Im not trying to start a religious debate or anything, I'm just trying to inform.

That's weird because Planned Parenthood where I live has someone on call to give out Plan B. Call them and listen to their answering machine. There should be an option that says something like "if you have had unprotected sex and need emergency contraception press..."

you have 72 hours to take Emergency Contraception. take a deep breath and try again 2morrow. it's happened to me before too and i know what you're going thru. good luck! the pills didn't give me any side fx and it was alot of ease on me emotionally.
