6 weeks of daily headaches and lightheaded feelings. Not constant, but periodically throughout day. The lightheadedness is not vertigo, dizziness, or imbalance...more like the feeling after a glass of really cheap wine. Headache is sometimes tension-like, sometimes sinus-like.

Both symptoms started at the same time an unfixed cavity in upper third molar began to start hurting. Dental x-ray showed decay into pulp, but no spread into sinus. Also serious increase in tooth grinding and jaw clenching during this period. Dentist thinks head symptoms are probably tooth-related. Extraction next week.

I've heard of headaches from tooth infection, but the other symptoms have me a bit nervous. Also the headache and spacey feeling are actually more frequent and noticable than the pain in the tooth. Haven't been able to confer with my doctor about this. (BTW, clean head MRI and CT about 14 months ago for another issue.)

So, is my dentist right and should I calm down, or should I get to doctor ASAP?

Checking in with your doctor couldn't hurt. Are you in alot of pain. Pain can make someone spacey feeling.
