My 6 year old was just dx w/abd migraines. He will be fine...then all of a sudden feel like he needs to vomit. And he will. For about 12 hours. This happens about 1-2x every month-2 months. Sometimes more. Otherwise, no other symptoms. His GI MD put him on Porpranolonol. (sp) to prevent them. Does anyone know about these? I am told they are actually caused in the brain, however do not cause a headach, which he never get's only vomiting. I did hear that often they will turn into adult head migraines. :mad: Which I have had since I was his age...go figure. Any one????
