Has anyone found this to be effective for anxiety/stress?

deleted pointed me toward it when I was looking at homeopathic remedies for stress. I had never heard of it. I am going to try it out on hubby when he gets home. He has been so stressed to the point of quitting his job this year. I've also got him on magnesium and L-theanine, which he's been taking for about 4 days and hasn't noticed a change yet.

Try some wild carrot, scullcap or/& valerian for your stress and anxety.

My search on basil: Stress: Basil leaves are regarded as an 'adaptogen' or anti-stress agent. Recent studies have shown that the leaves afford significant protection against stress. Even healthy persons can chew 12 leaves of basil, twice a day, to prevent stress. It purifies blood and helps prevent several common elements.
Personally I thought it was a line of BS.

:) :blob_fire  :)

In my workings with Holy Basil - it doesn't "prevent stress" or "get rid of stress"

It works by helping the body's reactions to stress. If your husband is really stressed out, holy basil may help his body fight the response to stress (like getting sick). I suggest yoga/meditation or a massage to help with the day to day ins and outs of stress.

Thanks!

Never used Holy Basil but I have used "St. Johns Wart". It works very well for stress. Also Natures sunshine makes "Stress-J". I haven't used it but others says it works.
