View Full Version : Hair Styling

Hi,

I'm 22 and have always had very thick hair. Usually I have to ask the barber to texturize and thin it out so that my spikes will show visibly. However, recently I feel as though my hair is thinning a bit and have stopped getting it texturized. My dad is 55 and doesn't even have gray hairs yet, plus his hair is very thick. Same with my mom who is about 45. Not sure about their parents though...

Anyway, I routinely style my hair and I'm wondering if its the gel that's causing it. Can anyone reccommend any hair styling products that are not only easy on the hair but HEALTHY for the hair as well? I take a daily multi-vitamin (with B and Iron)

It could just be paranoia of course... but I've noticed quite a few hairs coming out after shampooing.... any recommendations for good shampoo/conditioner (right now i use the cheap suave shampoo with no conditioner).

New to this board, so any help would be great, thanks!
