Hi Everyone,

I would like to see if any of yall out there have any experience or know of this. My dad is 79 and has alzheimers and parkinsons. His parkinsons is not too bad. Mainly shuffling and the stiffness of joints. He has a few tremors every now and then, but mainly when stressed.

His alzheimers is at a stage where he is hallucinating and seeing bugs in his house (floor, furniture and on himself). They bite him every not and then - it is mainly the point that it is almost totally obsessed with them. I could go on and on about that part, but this is what I need to tell for this question.

His family dr. said that if we tried to take him off the carbidopa/levodopa for 1 month at the most, maybe the bug hallucination might go away. So, me and my mom and dad are trying it. Too short of a time to tell if it is working yet.

Can any of you guys, say if the parkinsons symptoms will get worse very soon? Like before the months time? Slowly, as in creeping its way to worse during the month???

Any help that anyone can give, would really be appreciated.

Thanks,

Wannabe
