lavender01 06-24-2002, 03:05 PM Has anyone taken this? If so, for what and how did you feel? Sehsun 07-02-2002, 06:57 PM Yes, I took Klonopin for about two days. I was taking it for sleep (because I always get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom), but the day after I took it, I was very shaky around mealtimes. Then I was tired. So now I'm on Trazodone for sleep. ginli 07-06-2002, 09:01 AM Lavender, it's good you stopped because it can be a real b to come off of. It is an addictive drug, also. Stay clear of the benzos altogether Carla Sue 09-13-2002, 07:13 PM I tried klonopin once because I was told it was a great way to relax somebody. I swear it made me feel awful, kind of out of touch with my brain.I normally wouldnt mind such a thing:-) But this was just such an awful feeling, I never took them again! Carla imthatguy 08-17-2003, 02:44 PM I have a prescription to klonopin. I take .5mg 3x a day. I started on ativan and it did nothing, then was put on xanax and that helped for a while. When that started losing it's effectivness, they put me on klonopin. I've only been on it for about a week now. I did feel funny when I first started taking it. I don't know if this was because I was withdrawing from the xanax or if my body was just adjusting to the new medicine. I need it for panic attacks/anxiety disorder. It really helps me to relax and not worry so much. Not sure yet if it's helping as much as the xanax was. I might have her swith me back to xanax at a stronger dose. |
