Friday I had blepharoplasy, lower lid laser resurfacing and lipo on the torso. I figured the lipo would be the most painful but suprisingly enough it has not been bad. The lower lid laser resurfacing is another story. Today I did not want to take pain pills and made it until about 2 pm until I broke down and took a Darvocet. I am suprised at how much my face is swollen. Has anyone here had this experience and when if so, when did the swelling go down? I am using ice packs, which help.

I had rhinoplasty, lower lid blepharoplasy and liposuction in the chin/neck area on Wednesday. I'm still swollen today, especially my nose. It looks freakishly swollen, actually. My eyes are swollen and the bruising has turned from red to yellow. I look sickly at the moment. My liposuction area is still tender and I have to wear a tensor bandage for 2 weeks to help the skin retain its shape while healing. So, its not even been a week for me and I'm still pretty swollen. My surgeon said it takes 7-10 days for the swelling around the eyes to be totally gone. I guess we just have to be patient!
Good Luck!!

Good luck, too!
I am still in an incredible amount of pain from the laser resurfacing. I think blephoroplasty must be easier as the laser resurfacing is basically a burn. I am hoping that by tomorrow I can wear makeup.
