I have been having pressure on the right side of my head, for a while; but now it seems to move to the top of my head and a little on the left. I was wondering what this could be and how I should go about getting some help.

Thank you

Could you describe the pressure a little more? Like having a head cold, a headache? Could it be blood pressure related?

It feels like somebody put a tight band around my head. How would I know if it is blood pressure related?

Is is all the time or only when you lay down or sit down and then get up or turn your head, lean to one side and then the other, bend down, etc.? Is it relieved with a pain reliever like aleve or advil? Can it be migranes?

It seems to be all the time. Some days are better than others. I also sit at a computer all day, so I dont know if that has something to do with it. But I know other people and they also sit at a computer all day and it has not happened to them.

I feel like I have a vise around my head too. Just started seeing and osteopath who specializes in neuro cranial restructuring, and she said my
skull bones are really tight and crooked probably from malocclusion. I dont' know if that would be your problem tho, but thought I'd tell you.

Thank you for letting me know. What are you going to do about it?

Well I can feel my bite on one side is higher than the other, so need to figure out what my correct verticle dimension should be (I wear an upper denture and lower partial) and will need to get teeth remade, and she is going to work with the bones on my head to get them moving again as they are stuck and she said due to my verticle being too high. A bad bite has done this to me.

I have had an over bite since I was probably about 10. Could this be the reason?

Hello,
Could be because malocclusion causes tmj problems. But to find out if your tmjs are healthy, go take a TOMOGRAM. It should tell you if your joints are in the right places. And have a dentist you trust read it.
