Hello! I am 35yo and have suffered tmj for 13 years. I gave up on drs. for this and haven't been in probably 8 years for that. Heres my problem: I have to crack my jaw by moving it in order to get relief. I also have eye discomfort on the same side that the tmj is the worst. It feels like a great ball of pressure behind my eye, around near my ear, and sometimes toward the top of my head on the same side. Nothing "ever" relieves the pressure, I try to wiggle my eye around and fix my jaw. Does this sound familiar to anyone? What advice have you received? It is 90% on my right side. My jaw stays sore!!!

I had the same thing, I actually went to a chiropractor and that helped alot. You must find one that knows about TMJ. It relieved alot of things for me. my eye used to twitch alot too....good luck

I agree - a chiro helped a lot with that. I think I got better results with a Upper Cervical or NUCCA chiro than my regular one.

Thelma-Louise & Jilly,
Thank you very much for your responses. I was beginning to believe that maybe I had nerve damage to my eye somehow. I'm glad to know that maybe a chiropractor can fix that problem.
