I want to find out if anyone has has the surgery where they r emove part of the brain so that they take the part causing seizures out.

Roxie-Yes I did have the surgury your asking about-I had it in May 2003-and have been seizure free since sept.2003!! I am still on 2 meds-the nerologists that are handling my case are great!! After almost 2 1/2 yrs of changing meds-and all kinds of tests-the option was presented to me-and I said yes-I have a family that supported me threw all of this-and is still there when needed. Its a hard decicision to make-all I can say it worked for me-I will always have to be on meds-still visit with my Dr. 2X a year. If you want to know any more let me know. Cher
