Is there anyway I can get treated for genital herpes without my parents finding out? I've been laying in bed for the last couple days cause my first outbreak happened 2 days ago and just pain makes me pass out. I've never had any signs of anything wrong with me until now.

Well i'm only 17 and I can't go to the doctor without my parents cause I'm still a minor. I told them I had a stomach ache and a fever(I really had a fever). My parents don't know I'm sexually active.

Also i've been dating my boyfriend for more than 2 months. Did I catch this from him? Is there anyway to tell how I caught it? Could he of caught it from me? How can I tell him or talk to him without freaking him out? Or him hating me or being scared?

Hi you should seek a doctors help. You should also feel safe to talk to your parents about it. If you do not want to talk to your parents about it then you can go to planned parenthood. They keep things confidential, You will just have to get the money to pay for it. I still say you should talk to your parents about it so that they can support you. Herpes is a virus and there is not cure for it. You should encourage your boyfriend to get tested as well. Please seek the help from your parents.

i don't know what city you live in, but planned parenthood is a great place to go for confidential services. they can get you a disgnosis and treatment until you are ready to talk with your parents about this issue. pp will also help you practice safe sex! you are young and this could be a warning from above! next time your issue could be pregnancy! be careful!!
