can anyone tell me why my teeth are numb? Aweek ago i felt poorley and passed out and since waking up my front teeth are numb. I have been to the doctors and they thought it could be because i was hyperventilating and told me they would be ok in a few days but it has been 10 days and they are still the same.Ihave spoke to the dentist and they said they wont see me because its medical.can anyone help as it is doing my head in as i cant eat my food properly.

You might want to see a neurologist for your problem. Since you mentioned that you found out right after you had passed out, it sounds like it is medically related. You may see an oral surgeon but if they take X-rays they are not likely to show your nerves as X-rays don't show soft tissues. Good luck.

Have you considered that when you passed out you hit your front teeth? Did you fall? If you did, that could explain it.

i know for certain i did not bang my mouth as my husband was there. i have phoned the dentist but they said there is nothing they can do as it sounds as if it is medical but the doctors have never heard of this before so they are not treating this seriously i dont know what to do.
