Okay, I had all of my wisdom teeth out on Wed. of this week. The procedure went great (better than I expected) because I didn't have to have any "surgery" done; that is, the teeth pulled right out and I didn't need stitches. Well, I'm okay and the pain is not too bad.
This is my weird question. My gums are swollen (which I know is to be expected), and even though I'm brushing normally, I have this white film (?) all over my gums that feels rough when I put my tongue on it. It's all over both sides of top and bottom gums. If I scrape it off, it looks like plaque. Is this a normal occurence? It happens soon after I brush my teeth, and I am making sure that I brush my gums (though not around my extraction sites). I was just wondering what this might be, or if I should worry about it.
Thanks for any feedback!
Sincerely,
Angela
