Well I decided to kick the "smoking habit" 4 days ago, and everything was fine well minus the cravings and chest cold I have right now. But I could sleep fine.. everything, and now just last night I couldnt fall asleep until 5am does this have anything to do with quitting smoking? anyone else have a similiar experience?
-thanks
-thanks

Hi..
Congratulations for quitting smoking, that's so great!!
It's not unusual for there to be changes in the way our bodies function when we first quit smoking, and sleep interference can happen. I have seen it come up here on this board a few times. Don't worry, I think your body will straighten out and you will get back on track with your sleep...just takes a little time.
Are you using a nicotime replacement product, by any chance? If you are, please remove your patch before bed, like an hour or 2 before, and if you're using the gum, [or anything else w/nico], I wouldn't use any for at least an hour or 2 before bed.
Best of luck to you...
